February Hoar Frost

It was about minus eighteen degrees Celsius when I ventured out to get some photos. The sun was just beginning to make its appearance. Bitterly cold, but breathtakingly beautiful, I took photos until my hand was numb. I have to think about making some shooting gloves. Then only my right index finger and occasionally a thumb would need to be exposed :o).

Because We Take Too Many Photos

Although we are professional portrait photographers, we also have a love for nature and the artistic beauty in the world around us. So Lavender Rise Photography has decided to host two blogs. One with the portraiture and this one with the overflow of photos that come from seeing beauty in the everyday. There is beauty in each and every day, sometimes you just have to look for it, and perhaps it's only captured through the lens of the camera as the moment is so fleeting.
